Debut BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger
Type Satellite

Gigant: Take-Mikazuchi is a form of satellite. According to Continuum Shift, it was sealed away after the war due to fear of its use. Despite this, the satellite was still activated and had fired upon Kagutsuchi in Calamity Trigger. From Rachel's words, it seems as though Take-Mikazuchi can only fire once every four years. Take-Mikazuchi is a Japanese thunder god and patron saint of warriors. Because of the fearsome and dark appearance of the spirit stored within the satellite, it is commonly mistaken to be the Black Beast itself.

The weapon first appears in the opening to Calamity Trigger, where it fires upon the 5th Hierarchical City of Ibukido and destroys the facility where Mu-12 is being tempered. In one timeline, this act kills her, but in another timeline, the one in which BlazBlue's story mostly takes place, she survives but has no memory of the incident.

In Phase Shift 2, while Hakumen fought the Black Beast to protect Celica, Konoe used it against the Beast to drive it away from her sister.
