Molecular Shield or "Rocks" is one of Doctor Doom's special moves. Doom spreads his arms out and summons a cascade of rocks, which surround him in a tornado-like fashion and act as a shield. Then he throws them forward in a wave-like move towards the opponent, or the direction he faces.

- In the fighting game community, more commonly in Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Dr. Doom's Molecular Shield is referred by the name "Rocks".
- Molecular Shield is Dr. Doom's best and most used assist in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. However in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (and Ultimate), Molecular Shield is Dr. Doom's worst and least used assist.
